Dry Back Vinyl Flooring is also called Glue down LVT that will need full spread glue, the same as gluing down wood flooring. It does not have the tougue and groove profile or the unilin patern we are familar with .Dry back vinyl flooring is Perfect for the more intimate areas of the home, the warm, sensual Diverse Brown The new oak color is a sensational quality flooring solution. It delivers professional, high-quality results whilst also offering excellent durability.
The majority of dryback is 2mm to 3 mm thick. or even up to 5mm although normally 4mm is the max. 2.0mm, 2.5mm, and 3.0mm are by far the most common thickness.
Installing the floor is no problem and it can even be fully stuck down onto the subfloor. The textured planks measure 2mm-3mm deep with wear layer. Every pack can cover up to 4.75m2, An additional benefit of this floor is its moisture-resistant surface, making it ideal for rooms where real wooden flooring isn’t recommended.
Note: Every 1mm of thickness adds about 0.4 lbs/sf in weight…. Not small when you consider ½” wood flooring is only 1.6 lbs/sf. Wood density is mostly between 0.6 to 0.85.

1. XMY dry back Vinyl Flooring is compatible with many adhesive options, but suitability of adhesive is a responsibility that rests solely with the installer. If unsure of suitability, please check with your dealer/distributor for further information regarding compatibility, taking care to inform them of jobsite conditions.
2. First, determine the orientation of the flooring in the area. Typically for plank products, the flooring runs the length
of the room. There may be exceptions since it is all a matter of preference.
3. Prepare all rules, cutters, adhesives, trowels/spreaders and compass dividers before commencing work.
4. The planks can be cut easily with a utility knife, just score the top of the plank and snap the plank in two.
5. To avoid narrow plank widths or short plank lengths near the walls/doors, it is important to do some planning.
